2008 Lexus LS 600h L

It sounds incredible that a car with more than 430 horsepower can actually bag a SULEV (Super Ultra Low Emission Vehicle) rating, but the 2008 Lexus LS 600h L has done it. This new addition to the LS series has an awe-inspiring 5-liter V8 engine backed up by electric motors, resulting in an incredible 70% emission reduction.

Being a gas-electric hybrid version of the LS flagship sedan, the '08 LS 600h L has been enhanced considerably, especially the all-wheel drive. The pre-collision system has been updated to an advanced degree of sensitivity to detect even pedestrians. The system even monitors whether the driver has his or her eyes on the road when an obstacle is in the way of the vehicle.

Apart from these additions, the 2008 Lexus LS 600h L has most of the features in previous LS models including the VDIM, traffic monitoring system and navigation assistance – all encapsulated within the L-Finesse styling that was introduced with the LS 460.
